Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs)

In addition to pesticide, metal and mycotoxin analyses, PHYTOCONTROL offers an extensive program for the identification and quantification of authorized and unauthorized genetically modified organisms, to assist in ensuring compliance with all regulations regarding GMOs.

In addition to the essential detection of the P35/TNOS and RRS/RRS2 sequences, PHYTOCONTROL has developed new mono and multiplex screenings protocols for corn, rice, soya, colza and potato species, by real-time PCR, allowing the identification and quantification of all GMOs, even those classed as third and fourth generation GMOs, in all food produce, seeds, raw materials and processed products.

PHYTOCONTROL is accredited by the COFRAC perimeter GTA LAB 02 concerning Genetically Modified Organisms.

The combination of our expertise in molecular biology analysis, and our knowledge of current European regulations make PHYTOCONTROL the perfect partner to guide and assist you in effective GMOs monitoring, within the framework of the various French and European regulations:
